Meet Our Doctors

Dr. Ryan Macedo

Dr. Ryan Macedo was in practice in the Vancouver, WA area for 9 years prior to moving to Kitsap County with his wife and joining the team at CLC in 2017. Dr. Macedo graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 2007. He believes if you take care of your body, it will take care of you. Dr. Dave Powell

Dr. Dave has been with Chiropractic Lifestyle Center for over 10 years. As a formal naval officer, Dave experienced Chiropractic Care for the first time after an active duty injury and has been a proponent ever since. He went on to receive his Doctor of Chiropractic from the esteemed New York Chiropractic College and became certified in Graston in 2008. Read More -->

Dr. Morgan Kinnear

As a Chiropractic Physician, Dr. Kinnear is passionate about treating musculoskeletal pathology using a comprehensive and holistic approach. Dr. Kinnear utilizes chiropractic manipulative therapy, massage, instrument-assisted soft tissue manipulation, patient education, and physical rehabilitation to facilitate proper biomechanics and promote tissue healing. Each treatment session is tailored to the unique needs of each patient.

Meet Our Licensed Massage Practioners

Maja Nelson

Maja (pronounced MY Ya) received her education at Port Townsend School of Massage. She believes that just as each person and body is different, each massage will be different. She continues to educate herself, specifically in craniosacral massage and myofascial release. “Effective massage treatment integrates anatomy and intuition for a more holistic massage.”

Ruth Ann Saunders

Ruth Ann graduated from Everest College Massage Therapy Program in 2015, and has taken continuing education classes in cupping therapy, active isolates stretching, and specialized neck work. She is very passionate about massage therapy. “I always want to give the most muscle relief as possible, while giving you knowledge and tools to help further your self care.” She is very excited to be a part of the CLC team.

Jeanne Kunewa

Jeanne graduated from Port Townsend School of Massage in 2006 and has been licensed in Washington since June, 2007. Since then she has continued her studies in Thai passive stretching, and has achieved certification in orthopedic massage. She is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Her practice emphasizes injury treatment, deep tissue, myofascial release, cupping, and passive stretching.

James Wolfrey

Starting his massage career back in 2007 was a life changer. "A welcome home moment," He says best describes it. "If I'd have known how fulfilling being a bodyworker is. My career would have started sooner."

His massages are adaptable. He can perform massage techniques that range from the extreme pressures of Structural Integration, and Trigger Point Therapy; to the lightest possible touch of Reiki, and Cranial Sacral techniques. James has confidence he'll discover what works best for each patient.

Jacque Dupont, L.M.P.

Jackie graduated from NW Academy of the Healing Arts in West Seattle in 2020. She has worked in a Chiropractic setting for the past two years. Her goal is to provide bodywork focused on pain relief, rehabilitation, and recovery from injuries; along with relaxation and emotional restoration. During her free time, Jackie enjoys getting into nature, gardening, going to see live music, and hanging out with her cat Fenway.

Meet Our Administrative Team

Jackie Lax

Jackie became a member of the Chiropractic Lifestyle Center administrative team in October 2011. Prior to that, she worked in the medical field as a Registered Medical Assistant and an Administrative Specialist. She has extensive experience in customer service, healthcare administration, and enjoys providing leadership and strategic direction to others. Her goal is to assure that the services delivered by the Chiropractic Lifestyle Center are consistent with the organization's mission and are accessible to all people in the communities we serve. She plans to accomplish these goals by working alongside providers and administrative staff as a strong cohesive team that understands the value of insights derived from listening to the patient’s voice and delivering the highest quality services.

Cassey Current

Cassey has lived in the Kitsap area most of her life. She attended nursing school at Olympic College and went on to work in the medical field as a Medical Assistant Phlebotomist/NAC and has spent some time in administrative roles for local schools. She is very computer savvy and is looking forward to adding her skills to the CLC team and community.

Living a healthy lifestyle has always been important to Cassey. She believes that eating healthy, being physically active, and mentally rested is the only way to be fully transparent in day to day life.

Staci Scheeler, Chiropractic Assistant

Staci moved from California to Washington State in 2017 where she has since made Kitsap County her home. She is currently pursuing a nursing degree at Olympic College focused on helping people and making a difference in this world. In her free time she likes going on hikes (Rattle Snake Ledge is her favorite) and hanging out with her husband and cats.
